Mobile Petting Farm FAQs

Are your animals clean?

They are as clean as farm animals can be. 😊 We take great pride in our animals and provide them with routine grooming and vaccination requirements. We will bath (those whose wool/hair will not be negatively affected by a bath) prior to events whenever possible.

Is your petting farm licensed?

The State of GA does not require licensing by the USDA or GA Dept of Agriculture for non-exotic, non-equine livestock & poultry only petting farms. However, we adhere to the Animal Welfare Act for the safety and security of all our animals.

Is your business insured?

Yes, we carry liability insurance and can provide copy of our Certificate of Insurance upon request.

Do you charge a mileage fee?

Depends. Rates are determined by county, not mileage.

Can I have your mobile petting farm in a park?

That depends on the park as each park has different requirements. We recommend contacting the specific park regarding their requirement. We can help you obtain contact information if needed.

Can we schedule a party at your farm?

Unfortunately, No. We currently only offer mobile options at this time.

You can however, schedule private photo sessions with Hutcheson Photography, LLC which includes full tour of farm and animals.

Where does your petting farm travel?

All over the State of GA!

How long does it take to set up and break down?

Depends on the location and animals. Typically, it only requires 15-30 minutes to set up and break down.

Is there a maximum number of children or adults I can have at a party?

No, we cater to all size events. Birthday Parties can be 20 children and 40 adults. Corporate events require additional fee for 50 or more guests.

Is there a deposit or non-refundable fee to book?

Yes, a $50 non-refundable deposit is required within 7 days of booking confirmation. (Short notice (<30 days) events require deposit same day).

What happens if it rains?

We understand acts of God that are beyond any normal person’s control, and we try to make every attempt to work with the host to reschedule the event.

Do you provide food for the animals?

Yes. We do not allow outside food to be given to the animals.

Do you bring/have hand sanitizer?

Yes

What does your tear down include?

We remove corral and animal pens, trash and animal debris from animal area. We will sanitize the animal area with disinfectant and deodorizer prior to leaving (similar to disinfectant kennels and boarding facilities use). Application takes 15 min to dry and is safe for foliage. Once dry application is safe for animals/people to reenter area. We can provide a copy of product label upon request.
